compact design meets

uncompromising performance

Even as Arendal Sound’s most accessible range, the award-winning 1961 Series sets a high bar. Built with the same passion and precision as our step-up 1723 Series, it delivers exceptional sound quality and craftsmanship, making it the perfect introduction to high-quality audio or a seamless addition to your existing setup.

With advanced engineering, Nordic-inspired design, and a solid commitment to value, the 1961 Series proves that great sound doesn’t have to come with trade-offs. Whether building your first stereo system or expanding your home theater, this series offers an unbeatable blend of performance, versatility, and affordability.

COMPACT DESIGN

PURE PERFORMANCE

1961 Series speakers and subwoofers are thoughtfully designed to fit effortlessly into modern living spaces while delivering the audio performance you’d expect from much larger and more expensive products.

Borrowing innovations from the 1723 Series, including waveguide tweeters and custom drivers, the 1961 Series ensures precise, dynamic sound reproduction. A variety of models allow you to create a sound system tailored to your room and preferences. High-Density Fiberboard (HDF) cabinets and painted matte finishes reflect our unwavering commitment to quality.

ENGINEERED

FOR YOUR LISTENING SPACE

Whether you’re watching an action-packed movie, relaxing with your favorite playlist, or setting up a full home theater, the 1961 Series offers versatility and adaptability.

Tower, Monitor and Center models — when paired with a subwoofer — deliver expansive soundscapes and impactful bass for medium-to-larger rooms. The Bookshelf design is compact yet powerful, ideal for small-to-medium spaces and Surround and Height speakers are perfect for on-wall or on-ceiling installations. The aforementioned Subwoofers, with a choice of sealed or vented configurations, provide tight, precise bass or extended low-end impact.

With its blend of thoughtful engineering and practical design, the 1961 Series ensures your system sounds exceptional, even in smaller listening spaces.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE

Waveguide Tweeter

Adapted from the award-winning 1723 Series, the custom waveguide paired with a 28mm soft-dome tweeter, ensures precise sound dispersion and reduced distortion. This results in clear, consistent audio performance across the entire room, not just the sweet spot.

HDF (High-Density Fiberboard) Cabinets

Constructed from premium HDF, the cabinets eliminate unwanted resonance and vibrations, delivering clean, undistorted sound. The durable matte painted finishes reflect Arendal’s firm commitment to quality and aesthetics.

Custom Drivers

The proprietary 5.5” long-fiber pulp drivers deliver tight, punchy bass and smooth, detailed mids. These drivers are specifically designed for dynamic and immersive soundscapes, ideal for both music and movies.

BUY DIRECT FROM
ARENDAL SOUND

Buying direct removes uncertainty — about pricing, advice, and long-term ownership.

Buying direct compared with buying through dealers Arendal Sound ships straight from the factory to your home, with one margin. Other brands go through a distributor and a shop, and the price grows at every step. $ $$ $$$ Other brands Distributor Shop $ Direct Factory Your home

By selling without distributors or retail layers, we stay accountable for the entire experience: how our products are built, how they’re explained, and how they’re supported over time.

  1. No Hidden Margins

By removing distributors and retail markups, pricing reflects the product itself — with more of your budget going into engineering, materials, and quality control instead of sales layers.

  2. Advice Without Sales Pressure

With no dealers, quotas, or commissions, guidance is based on your room, listening habits, and system goals, by specialists — not on what needs to be sold.

  3. Proven Where It Matters: At Home

Because sound depends on the room, evaluation happens in your own space, with a 60-day home audition, free returns (USA & EU mainland), and support during setup.

  4. Support That Extends Beyond the Sale

Selling direct creates a long-term responsibility, backed by consistent platform design, spare parts availability, and a 10-year warranty.

Direct-to-consumer isn’t about shortcuts.
It’s about clarity, accountability, and long-term confidence.
