Well, it is done and could not be more pleased with the results.  Being in the pro audio field, I have been a listener of some great monitors (Dynaudio, M&K, Genelec, Mackie, Yamaha, ADAM). For home, I needed a combination that was flexible with my space (missing left wall) and space friendly in the future.  I chose the two towers, two heights for tower placement, center and surrounds from the 1961 series.  Also selected the 1961 1s. All speakers driven by an Arcam AVR550. This was an upgrade from an RBH Sound small cinema series I enjoyed for 22 years.

This system is simply stunning and they are not even broken in.  Natural, clean, and…potent. I have listened to a lot of material with Andre Boccelli’s latest Christmas album (playing the master on Tidal) a surprise experience.  Watching Top Gun: Maverick was excellent.  The consistency across each position makes for true surrounded experience.

Thank you community for all the help and Arendal for an excellent experience from order to first listen.

Appreciate the thoughts in and insights.

Looks like my only option for almost is placement on the monitors (thank you Arendal for the options).

The last issue is what sub when using the 1961 towers?  It is recommended on the site not to use a sub. I am leaning 1723 1S but hear good things for the 1961 subs.  That is a good match with the 1961 towers? Music and Movies are equally important.

Thank you!
