For some reason this reply is not in the thread. Or maybe I am doing something wrong. Either way its good info. My setup is not 2 channel listening, its full atmos surround. I watch mostly movies but like to listen to music too. I really like the new Atmos mixed music. I currently have the tower speakers set in the triangle as mentioned above. Should I keep that position or is the a hybrid position that will would be better for music and movies in surround format.

The picture shown in the document shows how to lay this out which I think is helpful.

So aim the towers to the far outside seating positions to improve the center imaging.

Do you aim it to the center of the outside seating position or towards the outside or inside of that position?

Just want to properly aim these for the best response for the speakers characteristics.

Thanks for the response. The topic seems to be discussing toe in for 2 channel listening. My setup is 7.2.6. What is the recommended tower toe in for surround systems?

It also depends on how your processor handles bass management. Bass response is very difficult to get it consistent in a room. Adding more speakers producing bass can cause additional issues if not managed properly. It’s easiest to just correct for the subs you have and run 80hz for the other speakers.

Thanks for the responses. Currently I have the speakers closer to the wall than I think they should be. I have scheduled a professional calibrator to visit and calibrate my TV and sound. During this visit we will optimize the speaker locations for the room from his measurements.
