I think the gloss finish is better looking and I got my surrounds with that finish, but satin is more usefull with less reflections so I got a satin sub under the screen. I think it’s a right choice to produce both.

I know it’s a TV serie and not a movie but Stranger Things 4 has a veary good soundtrack! ;)

Nice to meet you Neil, you have a beautifull cat! ;)

I have 1723 sub 1V and the app woks just fine for me on Android

I have yet to hear 1961 speakers so I’m not judging the quality and how they compare with 1723 speakers, I was referring to a general comparison between the feel of  having in front a 5″ and a 8″ driver, at least for me. When I swapped my pair of KRK RP5 studio monitors with a pair of KRK V8S4 the difference was huge.

Personally I prefer to buy several smaller units due to budget and my room size, but for who has a big room and a lot of money I think a 3×12″ or 3×13,5″ or 3×16″ sub tower will be insane.

Yeah, I agree with you Thomas, when you can’t use a sub towers are a better option.

I think a classic woofer/tweeter/woofer configuration for mains and a woofer/tweeter configuration for surrounds and atmos will be fine. Regards driver size you can make two product series one with 5″ and one with 8″ drivers.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>For me it’s 80/30 movies/music, I tend listening to music with my studio monitors on pc when I’m doing other things due to lack of free time. In the evening I prefer a bit of relax with movies/TV series in my home theatre.</p>
