Which surround processor are you using?

I have recently acquired a pair of 1723 1S subs for my 2.2 stereo system.

I’m not a home theatre person, but just for interest’s sake, ‘cos you never know. :)

Which surround processors are you using successfully with a full Arendal THX setup?

I’m using a Rotel RSX 1055 for now (It’s no spring chicken, but works well as a stop gap)

@Francois

Wow, this has to be 20 years old. And it is still working?

You will be surprised how much better the newer processors sound.

Oh that’s awesome mate. I wonder how good mca amplifiers are compared to Emotiva Gen3

I still have my emotiva xpa-dr3. Was new a few months ago. Very good amp, but my ocd told me to stick with the same brand as the processor. While I wait on the mca’s I got the dr3 and the parasound a51 to switch between ;) I’m selling the dr3 and the halo when I receive my anthem products👌
