I’m sure others have thought of this but here’s my take. I would love to see clothing with the Arendal name/logo on them. It would be great to be able to proudly display the brand we own and are so passionate about (as well for advertising). Would also love to see a home theatre placard specific for 2 channel enthusiasts, as many of us are in this category and do not have home theaters. Items could also be expanded out into many other areas.
We had some exclusive Ambassador gifts made which is correct. We are still investigating options to have for sale in the future.
There is someone trying to “sell” unlicensed Arendal shirts in the Arendal exclusive club FB group. Maybe that is what you saw? Looks like a scammer to me.
Bootleg Arendal gear? Sounds like albums in the 70s. Many acts came out with live albums to counteract all the bootlegs. May need to get the real gear out ASAP to beat the bootleggers. We’re ready!

I have to get this out as it has been bothering me for some time. You said in this interview, “The AV Experience Podcast with Special Guests from Arendal” (Youtube, at 47:00 minutes in) you were not going to sell products (meaning shirts, mugs, etc, ) and that people would have to earn them. So, I have question and statements. 1) Why were we led along on this forum, asking what we wanted and what we were willing to spend if you had no intention of selling us items requested by your “loyal customers”, your words. I worked in a corporate world for 45 years. This was a tactic management used, dangle the carrot in front of people, only to move the carrot further, never really giving the reward. Sorry, but I personally see this as an arrogant and offensive move. We should be allowed to purchase items, we were allowed to purchase expensive speakers. I really love my speakers and you have great customer service. I don’t think you realize how your statement came across to people. Do requests from this forum really bring forth results or is it just a talking place? There were many months of conversation about having items to wear, use, etc, for over a year actually. I for one will now pass on any extras. This may seem a little thing to you, pride of ownership is also expressed in other ways, not just having speakers in a room. I don’t mean to upset people on this forum, this is my point of view, speaking for myself.

Please do not read too much into this. We have talked about different options and what to do with merch.
At the moment we focused it on a small number of gifts for our ambassadors.
We have not given up the idea of selling merch.
The whole point of this thread is to see if there is any interest at all and we see that it is.
But when we release something we want to do it 100% and we have yet to find a good solution.
I am sorry you took this as an offensive move from us, that was not the intention.
Neil I hear your frustration about giving feedback and not having it acted upon. Hopefully there will be Arendal gear in the future. Put on your favorite music and enjoy. That’s what our community is all about. Hope you’re having a good holiday season!

I always enjoy my music. Tonight had several hours to myself, so this is what I did. Retired in June and now have more time to listen to music and finally enjoy the holidays more. Always enjoy your posts and find them helpful. Take care.
Enjoy your retirement. I still have several years to go but I’m definitely looking forward to it. Will be nice to stay up late listening to my music not having to worry about shutting it down to get ready for work the next day.
I like late night and especially early morning listening while my head is nice and clear. Good coffee, nice and dark outside, low mixed lighting, the subwoofer plate amp gets nice and warm, the main amp heats up real nice, the furniture vibrates gently, so quiet and peaceful when the music passages settle down, then the music lifts and the ears get tickled and the pleasure starts all over again. I can’t stop buying music. Sounds crazy but this is what makes us audiophiles tick. Long live the audiophiles, lol.
