When you are close to the speakers in a smaller room, bigger drivers are not always better.

The bigger drivers have more center distance to the tweeter and sound to close not as a whole unit.

Great deal on all the 1961 speakers.  Any thoughts on including the 1961 subs in the 30% discount too?

It doesn’t seem that the subwoofers are being retired.  I was thinking of picking up another set of height speakers, but curious what’s replacing the 1961s.  If the new line is voiced the same, then it may not make sense…

Purchased my 1961 towers and 1V sub just a few weeks ago.  Wanted the 1723S towers but it was too far outside my budget with the 1V sub. Super thrilled I took the plunge though! Fantastic sounding speakers! Couldn’t be more thrilled especially for the price!

I was hoping to take advantage of the premium upgrade to the 1723S towers down the road. Does anyone know if that will still be possible?

I just order another height speakers for my front wall just because of the retirement.

I don’t even have an amp for them :)

Hello Community,

The premium upgrade will be available for 1 year after the purchase of your 1961.

The subwoofers indeed, are not being retired.

Hi !

I am so sad you discontinue the 1961 Line :(. I consider your brand to equip myself and 1961 séries looks really appealing.

hope you’ll replace this line With new products in the same price and compact range !

kind regards,

If anyone is interested in selling a pair of 1961 bookshelves I would be interested.
