Total Eclipse – Anybody Else In The Path Of Totality?

Here in western NY, total eclipse on Monday… IF the friggin clouds don’t ruin it. Anybody else in the path of totality? It might be decent weather here. Fingers crossed since it will be around 350 years until this area gets another total eclipse. Also, I have put together a decent eclipse playlist.

Amazing to see today.  The eclipse playlist just added to the fun.  Another check on the bucket list.

I hope the weather held up for you in Vermont. Here in Western NY it was a complete and total waste. Complete total thick dark cloud cover by the time totality got here. I’m of the mind unless you saw totality you didn’t see the eclipse. People here were super impressed it got dark for 3 mins. I did not let everybody know it gets dark here every day. It was an unfortunate kick in the balls letdown.

I handed out Moon Pies & Capri Suns to some people and we made our own eclipse by making videos slowly moving the Moon Pie in front of the Capri Sun. I don’t think my inlaws found this particularly funny.

Now in 2027, there’s a 6 min 30 second total eclipse at an ancient temple in Egypt. I read it’s in August when clouds are pretty much impossible in Egypt at that time of year. Maybe I start saving up for that…

Sorry to hear the weather didn’t cooperate.  It was beautiful in Vermont.  Sunny and unusually warm for April.  Definitely worth the trip.

Hope you’re able to make the trip to Egypt work.  An eclipse with the pyramids would be cosmic.
