i am a proud owner of the 1723 S Monitors, 1723 S Center and 1723 S Surrounds with two 1961 Heights. My future mancave has a size of 5,1m x 4.9m. For better acoustics, i could tear down two walls to increase the length by 1 to 2 meters 😂 The room itself will have acoustic treatment too.
I am wondering which subwoofer is the best for this size. Single or multisub? I want earthquake! I’m flirting with the 1723 1V since months.

Hi Ben,
Since earthquake is the deciding factor you are absolutely correct in choosing the 1723 Subwoofer 1V.
Our sealed subwoofers sound more understated.
I would always recommend starting with just one subwoofer and having its position right.
Make some measurements, tweak the setup, and if you feel the bass is too uneven, or you have big variations between seats, or just need more output, a second subwoofer can be a great addition.
Hi Ben, I just ordered the 1723 1V last Saturday to complete my current LCR 1723 S Towers and Center. Hopefully they’ll be delivered next week so I can start the experiment/enhance the excitement 🥳 Will keep you posted 😉
