1961 Bookshelf

I will be moving into a new house and would like to have a small setup in the living room. It is approximately 14’ x 14’ (4.25 m x 4.25 m) with a cathedral ceiling. The way it is setup doesn’t lend itself to large speakers or regular size equipment (both of which I have). The 1961 bookshelf speakers would be nice and small but my question is, are they too small for the room? It’s for just listening at a moderate to low volume. I will purchase a small streamer with built in amp at some point. Pehaps a Bluesound Powernode or hopefully something a little cheaper. Any thoughts on that would also be appreciated.

Hmmm, it’s hard to say, but where you are living will that be your permanent home? I ask if you plan to move to a bigger and if you have bigger monitors prior then that will save in a sense.
