Thanks, lopks nice
These look like a good inexpensive alternative but aren’t they too tall for the monitors?
@Edward, the height depends on the seating. You would want to have the tweeter somewhere at the ear height for best sound.

These are available in multiple heights and built like tanks. Top plate is quite small but I’ve had no issues with them. Monoprice sells a knockoff for a lot cheaper but they are a mix of wood and steel instead.
Honestly I would just build your own which I plan on doing. Something like this.
Hey Rene,
I actually have 4x 1723 Monitor + center as well. I use the Monolith 24inch Stand. It actually support way more than claimed since I’ve sat/stood on top of them (am at 160 lb) so more than enough for these monitor. Of course, these would depend on your needs. for center channel i use the Sanus SFC18-B1, top base may seem smaller but works for my needs.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
– Dash
I purchased some stands from Monoprice, through Amazon. They come in multiple heights and very well designed. I filled mine with play sand to eliminate any ringing and extremely sturdy.
The stands I got through Adorama were about $300 USD and I like them because of the larger top plate give more stability. But I also own a pair of the Monoprice Monolith Stands and they do support the 1723 Monitor just fine. They make a couple of different models but the all metal version is basically a clone of the Pangea 400.
Hi Rene – I am using the SolidSteel S-6 stands (with the larger 7.5” square top plate), and they work just fine for the 1723 monitors. I chose this model since its height (24”) brings the tweeters right to ear level from our primary listening position. These stands are well built and have that “retro” look we were looking for.
