Arendal Sound wish list

I saw a recent post about wanting Arendal Sound in ceiling and in wall speakers and it made me curious what other things people would want to see from Arendal just for fun. Maybe something like a 1723 center channel made like the towers with four bass drivers and a 2.5-way design? An even bigger subwoofer, dual opposed 16 inchers? Maybe something simple and small like a powered bookshelf speaker or a Bluetooth speaker? Arendal headphones? Or how about a luxury, higher end, higher priced product? I feel like they currently offer a perfectly wide range of products covering a lot of the bases but I am curious what anyone else love to see!

I would love to have a good desktop speaker, not easy to find.  And a nice small sub to that

There are a couple of aesthetic ideas I have.

 

Get rid of the screws on the 1723 like you did with the 1961. It looks sleeker and more modern. Something akin to the KEF R series.

 

Second, give us either white drivers or a white grill for an all white look. The black and white looks great but pure white would be stunning.

 

At least the hight speakers need a white from (drivers or grill) to make it disappear on a white wall.

 

Just a few ideas. I can’t wait to order some speakers from the 1723 line once I have saved up the money.

 

Last question and a bit off topic but…

How often does Arendal update their speaker lines?

Thank you for your feedback, we will definitely make a note of that.

Since we are still a very young company there is no real update cycle you can count on.
Good speaker companies change their series 7 to 8 years after launch.

We are of course working on new products all the time, but there will not be anything new in the near future.
So you do not have to worry that our speakers will be replaced soon.

i would love to see 1723 Monitor THX in-ceiling version for the atmos, keeping the Ultra2 THX certification. so i can keep my family/theater living room all at THX Ultra2 for my room size. I know KEF has the Ci200RR-THX which is Ultra2 certified but would like to keep everything Arendal :).

-Finally white speaker grills/covers!

– In-Ceiling / Wall Speakers (with adjustable tweeter and paintable grills like Canton Inceiling Series)

– A center speaker, which is a little bit wider, but not as high as the 1723 (S)

– I like the mounting option of “monitor”/wall speakers of another manufacturer (picture attached), which I think would be nice for your 1961 monitors as well. Especially, because you can change the speaker angle a little bit and use them for ceiling mount, too.

Yes, white grills must happen. They would make the speakers look exceptionally elegant.

A nice set of in walls would be nice.  I’ve been needing a pair for the family room for some casual listening.  Something akin to a L/R on either side of the tv.  While there are many options to choose from in the marketplace, I’ve not yet heard a pair that I didn’t feel like I would be settling with.

Although having a set of in walls would be tough to have a 60 day return policy on.  Not sure how that would work with having to install and all.
