You really made the most out of your space.

Did you contemplate the possibility of using 1961 booksshelfs or heights as surrounds? I have serious space constrains in my room and I am torn between using space-saving units (which happen to be direct firing, as per D specs) or go the triaxial route.

When it comes to the amplifier, are you happy so far? How would you say it has a neutral approach? or, Does it emphasise certain frequencies? I know amplifier are suppose to be transparent but we all know that is not always the case. I am asking because I might use one and this seems to be a sensible choice, i.e., bang for the money!!!!!

As a MTBer myself I could not resist asking about the bike. I quite not recognise it. Would you care to detail which brand/ model is? Same goes for the rear shock.

I was thinking about the 1961 but I wanted high gloss white which was not available there or no longer available. I plan to buy 1723 heights in the distant future, but for the ceiling. For the lower level, just to the side, I would have had to mount the heights higher up, which I would not have liked.

As for the power amp, I have to say that unfortunately I could not compare with my old AV receiver and have now heard the power amp only on the Denon. It is my first power amplifier and can therefore not say much about it in comparison. The comparison Yamaha to Denon is but already enormous I find. For movies, you really have to reach for the Denon. But I like what comes out of the iota!

I think you made the right call in not mixing another house sound to your mix. It really is amazing how much having the same sound signature adds to the over all experience.

I like how you workaround the space limitation! Only thing that kinda got me anxious is the white speakers and a bike mount nearby… I would not want the tires to stain the beautiful white speakers.
