Question Regarding 1723 Bookshelf S THX and Center Speaker

1) Will the Sony AVR AZ7000ES be able to drive these speakers (in a 7.2.4 configuration) without needing additional Amps?

2) Will a pair of speaker cable work or do I need the dual wiring (2 sets of speaker cables per speaker)

3) Are there any recommended stands for these speakers + Center?

Thank you!

Hello Lukas, are you sure the Sony 7000 can drive these? I thought these speakers needed 4ohm and the Sony wasn’t capable…. (too bad I already order the speaker)

Almost any receiver can drive the speakers, only on extreme loud levels it give problems.

I have 5.1.2 atmos with 1961 speakers on a denon x3400 no problem at all.

Enjoy your new speakers.

@Alex

The majority of speakers today are 4Ohm nominal, even though some speaker companies claim something different.
Every good AVR, especially the top-of-the-line ones, has no issues with 4Ohm.
Impedance is variable and not a steady thing.
