@Lukas, interesting thing about the speakers and how they interact with the space is, I had read an article on audioholics I think, that said in a larger space if you angle the speakers away from your center position it’s better for the sound. I did this yesterday, and it immediately made a difference in the bass. I was blown away. Just changing the angle towards me about 10-15 degrees outward made a huge difference. Everybody knows how Audyssey can leave you with less base, but just changing the angle of the speaker towards center listening position made a big difference for me. We watched Asteroid City, and when the atom bomb test goes off, it felt like you were in the diner with the characters. I guess when you spend this kind of money on a setup, you’re never quite done tweaking it. It’s an interesting journey.

@Michael

Toe in/out has definitely a big influence on the sound, and as every room is different is it worth it to experiment.
There is no right or wrong, just what sounds best top your ears.

It’s great how small adjustments impacted the entire sound stage. Had some friends over and we watched Asteroid City, and the scene where they were in the diner and a nuclear test is going on over the horizon shook the whole house. Love it.

Oh the struggle is definitely real.  I get looks and comments from my wife, kids and grandkids.  That’s one of the reasons I do most of my listening in my basement room.  Every man needs a man cave! Lol
