What receivers/amplifiers do you use to drive you Arendal setups?

I’m curious, What receiver/preamp/source and/or amplifiers do you use with your Arendal speakers? Have you tested brands that worked better than others? I’m curious to know what you guys are using!

I’m using a Yamaha RX-A2060 to power a pair of 1961 Monitors and a 1723 Sub 1v and it sounds great! I might add a dedicated amplifier down the line if I get something bigger, but I definitely don’t feel like I’m missing much with my current setup.

Using a Denon AVC-A110.
From my perspective it gives me everything I want, very detailed sound in stereo, plenty of power. Added a Bluesound Node to play MQA files from Tidal, and it sounds amazing. Watching movies with this setup is amazing, best set up I ever had!

Very happy with Arendal speakers!!!

I am currently running a Emotiva Gen 1 XPA-3 for the (2) 1723S Towers and a 1723 Center and a Outlaw 7000x for 1723 Bookshelves used as surrounds. The 4ohm rating wakes these amplifiers up quite a bit.

I have a Denon 4400H with an Outlaw 5000X 5 channel amplifier.  I have 1961 center, monitors for left and right along with 1961 surrounds wide right and left all connected to the amp while my rears are 1961 bookshelf speakers and my 4 atoms speakers are Polk OWM3’s powered by the receiver.   Thinking about adding a 6 channel amp for the rears and 4 atmos speakers.   Set up is a 7.2.4 with 2 SVS PB12-NSD subs

Hi Bjørn

The NAD C298 is supposed to be a killer amp with the Purifi Eigentakt module.

I hope you get great enjoyment out of it. Give us an update after using it for a while.

For more than three times the price of the Sonos the NAD should be a killer amp:)

Lukas, yea, about double price.. But Sonos did do a good job, but so far the NAD is impressive, will give it some time…

Here in Germany, it is 799€ vs 2499€ (only the amp, you will also need a pre-amp). Powerwise you should have more than enough on tab:)

I payed about 1900€ in Norway, got it a bit cheaper.. 😉.  New pre amp is the next on the list, just need to save up some money..
