Room size is approx. 25 sq/m, 3-seat sofa in prime listening position, wide soundstage. 90% music and 10% movies.

The best bang for the buck and a cool design.

I heard of Arendal through a friend who recommended them, and I checked it out. Started with the 1723 Towers and later upgraded to
1528 Towers. Not regretting that decision. Great speakers with incredible dynamics, sound quality, and SPL. Love the design with the sealed front drivers and curved front.
I chose Arendal because it gives very good value for money and excellent warranty/customer service. Previous speakers were some old B&W 600 series surround setup, then the 1723 Towers, then upgraded to 1528 with new electronics also.
Started a bit slow, because these speakers need a lot of playing time before sounding great, and also a lot of positioning around the room before finding the sweet spot. Also spent a lot of time integrating the sub. Also plugged the speakers to integrate the 1723 2s Sub. With port open, it outputs too much bass. Also experimented a lot with toe-in and finally found out they sound best with toe at 0, pointing straight out because of wide dispersion, and less in your face tweeter. I run the settings at the back of the speakers at REF.

Sound is huge with great dynamics. Excellent soundstage. The best setup I’ve ever had.
Future upgrades: Thinking of buying 1 more subwoofer and stacking it on top of the other.
Sounding great, can play most music effortlessly. The new Buckeye Amps really kick ass, the old Parasound A21 couldn’t really keep up with these speakers.
Also added acoustic panels on the entire backwall, helps a lot on the acoustics in the room.
Really take time to position these speakers, and run high-end electronics, it makes a huge difference.
