HOW IS YOUR ROOM SET UP?

My room is set up for 9.2.4 surround but it’s also perfect for stereo listening.

I have 1723 Monitors for front left and right and the soundstage is the best I have ever heard.
I have a 1723 S Monitor for the center chanel and 1723 S Monitors for the surround speakers. I have 1723 S Bookshelf speakers on the way for the rear and I’m currently using 1961 towers for wides.

I’ve had a “surround” setup since the early 1990’s and Arendal’s entire lineup is by far the best sounding speakers I have ever heard.
The sound stage and imaging of the 1723 Monitors have to be heard to be believed.

WHAT WAS YOUR GOAL WHEN LOOKING FOR NEW SPEAKERS AND SUBWOOFERS?

I want to hear what was in the recorded music. I don’t want the house sound of Bose or B&W or Kliptch or any other brand.

I want to hear the music. Nothing more, nothing less.

WHAT ELSE DOES YOUR SYSTEM CONSIST OF?

I have an Emotiva RMC-1L processor/preamp and 4 Emotiva XPA gen 3 multichannel amps to drive my Arendals.
I’m bi-amping my front stage 1723 THX monitors with a 4-channel Emotiva XPA Gen 3 amplifier. I’m using 2 SVS 4000 subs to full out the lower end. I’m running an Oppo 203 Blu-ray player for movies and a Wiim Pro Plus streamer for music.
