Living room is 16 x 20 with a vaulted cathedral ceiling running the long way and a solid brick wall on the end where the fireplace resides. TV/Audio setup is one long side wall with couch listening position approx. 11ft from tower positions.

I had a multi-channel tower, center, speaker setup with Dayton Audio speakers and a Pioneer powered sub configuration yet wanted to reduce the footprint and get rid of the powered sub for something that had more depth, range, clarity, and dynamics.

Research in the Emotiva forums and YouTube.
Wanting a Porsche on a Volkswagen budget, it was the value of the towers and sonic capabilities that grabbed my attention to give them a go. I have yet to be displeased in the towers.
Initially I was skeptic of the towers due to my own naive rush to just get them plugged in. After doing some tuning and adding more power to my setup, they really came to life, especially after break-in. The wide sound stage, clarity, and punch they can provide even in low moderate levels still gives me goosebumps with some songs.
The most notable surprise is the amount of power handling the towers can handle, albeit properly tuned and crossover’s defined. I’ve noticed that the towers can go very loud and still not sound harsh.
And I quote: “The Arendal 1723 THX towers have continually given me, and family, goosebumps re-listening to song after song.” The emotion that the towers can bring to the listening experience has been phenomenal.
