My room is 4×6 meters and not fully prepped for Hi-Fi yet. The back wall has wood slat panels with acoustic felt, but that’s about it. I have a 130” screen and a UST projector.
WHAT WAS YOUR GOAL WHEN LOOKING FOR NEW SPEAKERS AND SUBWOOFERS?
After searching the web for home theatre speakers, I suddenly came across the brand and was instantly interested.
After searching for reviews on the 1723 Towers and the 1723 2S subs, I couldn’t find a single negative thing about them. And since it’s a Norwegian brand, that gave me even more confidence.

I first heard about Arendal Sound when I was searching the web for “best home theatre speakers.” I was never really satisfied with the results until I came across Arendal Sound, and I immediately became interested – especially as a proud Norwegian. I was surprised I had never heard of a Norwegian speaker brand before.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE ARENDAL SOUND?
When I discovered the brand, I went straight to their website to see what they offered. I instantly fell in love with the 1723 Tower THX and the 1723 2S subwoofers. I then started looking for reviews online, and I couldn’t find a single negative one.
I also appreciate their transparent pricing – no discounts, no retailers – which makes me trust that the price we pay is already a great deal for the quality we get as consumers.
YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCTS?
I absolutely love them. I’m quite young and fairly new to Hi-Fi, but I’ve always been interested in sound since I was a kid. These speakers delivered far beyond what I could ever have imagined. I recently bought the 1528 10th Anniversary, and I got that same feeling all over again – what an amazing speaker!

How happy are you with Arendal Sound products?
I couldn’t be happier. My reaction when unboxing the 1528 in the rosewood finish was incredible – pictures truly don’t do it justice. It looks stunning, the sound is extremely clear and accurate, and the Arendal support staff is very quick and service-minded. The 1723 2S subs go incredibly deep and make movies with bass-heavy scenes an absolute blast to watch.
Anything else you would like to mention about your system?
It has been a lifelong dream (I’m 26 years old) to finally be able to buy a system like this. I can’t wait to get the room properly treated for acoustics and hear how much better it can get.
