HOW IS YOUR ROOM SET UP?

~600 sq ft dedicated room; listening position is centered (~12 ft space in front and behind), primary use is both movies and music. Speaker configuration is 5.1.4 with 1723 S monitors for left, center, and right channels, 1723 S surrounds wall-mounted on side walls, 1723 S heights mounted high on front wall above the left and right channels, 1723 S bookshelf speakers mounted high on rear wall angled down by 20 degrees (using clamping wall mounts) and toe-in towards main listening position.

What was your goal when looking for new speakers and subwoofers?

I wanted a space that can offer cinema level experience to enjoy movies and sports. It should also offer detailed music listening in both stereo and more immersive sound formats such as Auro-3D.

I first discovered Arendal Sound through online reviews and enthusiast forums (e.g. audioholics).

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE ARENDAL SOUND?

First and foremost is the sound quality for the price – all the reviews I have read have raved about the sound quality delivered by Arendal speakers to be either on par or better than other high-end speakers costing much much more!

YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCTS?

I first started with 5.1 setup in 2024 with 1723 S monitors for LCR and 1723 S surrounds. Due to the placement of the LCR speakers close to the front wall (for room aesthetics), I use all 1723 S monitors plugged/sealed. I was absolutely overwhelmed by the sound quality of these speakers (sound is energetic and crystal clear); to be blunt, I was surprised this level of sound quality was achievable in such compact designs and at their price point. Recently, I upgraded my system with 1723 S heights and bookshelves to complete the 5.1.4 setup – sound is extremely detailed and transparent, delivering exceptional, detailed, dynamic, and immersive sound stage that is precise and cohesive. Not only do Arendal speakers offer incredible sound, they also stand out for aesthetics and build quality!
