The 1610 series crossover is engineered for signal purity, thermal stability, and long-term reliability, using only carefully selected, high-quality components.
Throughout the entire signal path, only non-ferrous materials are used—no steel nuts, washers, or parts that could smear the signal.
High-grade components are used throughout, including wire-wound resistors and aluminium heatsinked wire-wound resistors capable of handling extreme thermal loads without tonal shift. Air-core inductors are employed in the midrange and tweeter circuits to avoid saturation effects, while polypropylene capacitors are used in the tweeter path for low loss and high transparency.
The filter topology is carefully chosen for optimal driver integration, with 4th-order filter for the high-frequency section and 2nd-order filters between woofer/midrange and midrange/high-frequency transitions across the entire series—balancing precision, phase behavior, and musical coherence.
