HOW IS YOUR ROOM SET UP?

My room is 3.55 m x 5.35 m x 2.5 m (W x D x H). On the right side, the room opens into the kitchen, with only a fireplace separating the two spaces. It is essentially a standard living room for everyday use rather than a dedicated listening room, yet the setup works beautifully. I have installed acoustic panels on the back wall. The listening distance is approximately 4 meters. I am using it both music and home theater.

WHAT WAS YOUR GOAL WHEN LOOKING FOR NEW SPEAKERS AND SUBWOOFERS?

To find the best possible quality within my budget. Appearance and build quality were also important. I felt that I was lacking bass quality and detail.

WHERE DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US?

YouTube reviews. Jay’s Iyagi’s review was the most important factor for me. It was actually Jay’s Iyagi’s review of the larger 1723 towers, where he stated they were the best in their price range and comparable to speakers costing many times more.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE ARENDAL SOUND?

The reviews, because all of them were great. Also, the style and the price range because the direct-to-consumer sale. However, my budget was limited, so naturally, I wanted to get the best possible value for my money. I feel I succeeded in that.

YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCTS?

Now I got the bass I wanted, and clarity and feeling in the music. The looks and the build quality that you can see in every little design. My previous speakers were System Audio Mantra 60, and they were fine, but what a difference it was when I try the 1723s towers. It was the tightness, quantity, and precision of the bass that immediately caught my attention—as well as that of a few others who have come to listen to the speakers.

For me, it was the performance and the looks. The appearance of the speakers—both from the front and the rear, where the terminals are located—speaks to their quality. Their weight also indicates that no corners were cut regarding material quality. The speakers continue to impress, whether with movies or music; in fact, I hardly ever use subwoofers for music anymore.

• Future upgrades: Originally considering a better amplifier, now leaning toward adding two to four Atmos speakers (front and possibly rear)

HOW HAPPY ARE YOU WITH ARENDAL SOUND PRODUCTS?

I am very happy, and now I am loyal to this brand. When buying speakers, it’s great to know they are made without compromise—that every component, right down to the internal wiring, is of high quality. The cabinet is made of HDF rather than MDF. External quality and aesthetics are also important to me, as the speakers are prominently displayed, and it matters that they exude quality.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE?

My surround speakers aren’t optimally placed right now, and I had considered moving them lower, but running the cables is a bit of a challenge at the moment. I’m also considering adding front Atmos speakers at some point, and possibly rear ones too. Even in their current location, the surround speakers perform surprisingly well.
