HOW IS YOUR ROOM SET UP?

My room is 14 feet wide x 20 feet long x 7 feet height. It is a dedicated home theater in my basement. I am seated 12 feet from the front 3 Arendal speakers and a 98 inch Sony TV. I use the system 90% movies and 10% music.

WHAT WAS YOUR GOAL WHEN LOOKING FOR NEW SPEAKERS AND SUBWOOFERS?

I was using Klipsch Reference speakers and wanted to go to the next level without spending $10K on speakers. Cinema level sound was the quest.

WHERE DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US?

I heard about Arendal doing Google searches and going to Audioholics.com. Audioholics rated the Arendal speakers very highly and their article convinced me to go with the 1723 THX Monitors since I had a good subwoofer.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE ARENDAL SOUND?

My friend paid $30K for a pair of really high end speakers. I knew there were more levels above where my Klipsch speakers were but I did not want to go to the level my friend did. The trial period really gave me the willingness to try the Arendals. I did not think they could produce a better sound than my Klipsch speakers. The Arendals are a better speaker. They are the next level without going into crazy money.

YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCTS?

I am definitely at the next level for sound quality. It is hard to explain, but the difference is obvious and better. Arendal speakers seem to produce natural sounds and provide the sound the way movies and music were designed to be heard. The build quality is evident with heavy/well built speakers, packed in large boxes. I can hear sounds that were lost to me with my prior speakers. The difference can be heard. I really enjoy SACD music played through the Arendals speakers. Pink Floyd “Dark Side of the Moon” explodes with these speakers.

The sound clarity is cinema level sound at a reasonable price.

• Amplifier: Parasound A31 (front 3 speakers)
• Source devices: Magnetar UDP800MKII Blu-ray/SACD player, Roku Ultra
• Future upgrades: Not planning any further upgrades

HOW HAPPY ARE YOU WITH ARENDAL SOUND PRODUCTS?

Overall, for anyone who wants to go to the NEXT LEVEL of their home theater system, Arendals are the way to go. They don’t break the bank and they give huge sonic returns.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE?

I am not planning on upgrading again. I am 77 years old and running out of time to enjoy the system so I hope to stay with what I have.
