Arendal 1723s Front speakers and center, Atmos is 1961, and surrounds as well. Two subwoofers 1961s.
Everything is in an open room, but it sounds great, I’ve been using a Marantz and running Dirac Art.
Made some compromise with speaker placement due to a larger tv, but it sounds great.
I was looking for a new subwoofer, and after getting that, I replaced the entire system since the subwoofer sounded so good.
Through Reddit at first.
My previous subwoofer couldn’t handle the room.
The support and products are amazing, had some trouble with an Atmos speaker and contacted the support, they were great and helped me with my issue! Always been very supportive during purchase and setup questions.
The biggest thing I noticed when upgrading to Arendal was the clarity of voices in movies and the overall level of detail in the sound—details I hadn’t heard before. I started noticing things in movies that I had completely missed previously. The same improvement applied when I swapped the surround speakers for Arendal; the surround effects became more precise and immersive.
I was also very impressed with the subwoofers—they sounded fantastic. Their performance made me want to upgrade the entire system. I started with the left and right channels and the center speaker, then moved on to the surrounds, and finally added the Atmos speakers.
The system sounds great, even with my open room layout, and the subwoofers combined with Dirac Bass Control perform exceptionally well.
Running three buttshakers driven by a small amplifier.
Powering the fronts with an Emotiva BasX and the rest with a Marantz Cinema 40.
Great! Everything sounds amazing.
