The 1528 series crossover is engineered for signal purity, thermal stability, and long-term reliability, using only carefully selected, high-quality components.
Throughout the entire signal path, only non-ferrous materials are used – no steel nuts, washers, or parts that could smear the signal.
High-grade components are used throughout, including wire-wound resistors and aluminium heatsinked wire-wound resistors capable of handling extreme thermal loads without tonal shift. Air-core inductors are employed not only in the midrange and tweeter circuits, but even in the woofer section to avoid saturation effects and uphold the absolute highest level of signal purity. Polypropylene capacitors are used in the tweeter and midrange path for low loss and high transparency, and we even use large Polyester caps in the woofer section.
The filter topology is carefully chosen for optimal driver integration, with 4th-order filter between the high-frequency section and the midrange and 3rd-order filters between woofer/midrange transitions across the entire series—balancing precision, phase behavior, and musical coherence.
To top it all off we have added adjustability for the midrange and the high frequency section, where you can adjust the level from +2dB, 0dB to -2dB, to ensure the speakers sound just right in your specific acoustic environment.
